NSF CAREER Panel

CAREER: The Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Program is a Foundation-wide activity that offers the National Science Foundation’s most prestigious awards in support of early-career faculty in STEM fields who have the potential to serve as academic role models in research and education and to lead advances in the mission of their department or organization. Activities pursued by early-career faculty should build a firm foundation for a lifetime of leadership in integrating education and research.  NSF CAREER 22-586

Join our CAREER awardees Joshua Spurgeon (CONN Center), Farshid Ramezanipour (Chemistry), Hui Wang (Mechanical Engineering), Lee Thompson (Chemistry), and Noppadon Sathitsuksanoh (Chemical Engineering) in a one hour session.  Hear about their experiences in submitting their proposals as well as how many times they submitted, notable changes they made between submissions, and recommendations they make based on their experiences.  In addition learn about what panelists are looking for in a proposal as well as unwritten mistakes to avoid.  Come prepared with any questions you may have.

Please complete the form below to RSVP for this virtual panel hosted on Microsoft Teams. The event will be held at noon Wednesday, February 1.

  • There will be time during the panel to ask questions, but you can go ahead and list any you currently have, which will offer some time to research if needed. (500 character limit)
