In memory of Bennett M. Brigman, former Dean of the J. B. Speed School of Engineering, a plaque and cash award is given each year to the graduating Master of Engineering student (summer 2018 or fall 2018 or spring 2019 graduating MEng ) who most nearly attains the objectives of the School. Criteria include GPA, Speed School activities (research, organizations, and publications) and extracurricular activities. The award consists of a commemorative plaque and a one-time partial‑tuition scholarship.
Brigman Award ($1000):
Eligibility: Summer 2019, Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 MEng graduates
Basis of selection: Attainment of school objectives (GPA, extracurricular activities, character)
