In memory of Bennett M. Brigman, former Dean of the J. B. Speed School of Engineering, a plaque and cash award is given each year to the graduating Master of Engineering student (summer 2019 or fall 2019 or spring 2020 graduating MEng) who most nearly attains the objectives of the School. Criteria include GPA, Speed School activities (research, organizations, and publications) and extracurricular activities. The award consists of a commemorative plaque and a one-time partial‑tuition scholarship.
Brigman Award ($1000):
Eligibility: Summer 2019, Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 MEng graduates
Basis of selection: Attainment of school objectives (GPA, extracurricular activities, character)
