Nominations for Alfred T. Chen Scholarship

ALFRED T. CHEN SCHOLARSHIP AWARD (one nomination per department)

A fund has been established in memory of Alfred T. Chen, Professor of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science and former Director of University Computing Activities.  Your nominee must be a student entering the Master of Engineering degree program in the summer 2022 semester or fall 2022 semester (award will be given for the fall semester). The recipient will be selected by the committee on the basis of scholarship.  Supporting documentation is required for the nomination, and the nominee should submit a brief document list their honors and awards and extra‑curricular activities.  The award consists of a commemorative plaque and a one-time partial‑tuition scholarship.

Chen Award ($1000):

Eligibility: Entering MEng program Summer 2022 or Fall 2022

Basis of selection:  Scholarship
