Mehmed Kantardzic

Dr. Kantardzic received his doctorate in Computer Science from the University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in 1980. He also holds an MS in Computer Science (1976), and a BS in Electrical Engineering (1972), both from the University of Sarajevo. He served as an Assistant and later an Associate Professor at the University of Sarajevo from 1972 to 1994, and in this period he was elected twice and served as an Associate Dean for Research (1987 - 1989, and 1992 - 1994). He joined the Engineering faculty at the University in Louisville in 1995 as a Visiting Professor, was instated as an Associate Professor in 2001, and was promoted to Professor in 2004.
