Lauren is an Academic Counselor in the Office of Student Success who began her role in July of 2018 after moving to Louisville from Columbus, Ohio. In addition to advising, Lauren serves as the Coordinator for the the Engineering Living Learning Community (ELLC), a community of first year engineering students who reside in the Community Park residence hall on campus. Lauren plans academic, career-focused and social programming for first year students. She supervises the cohort of ELLC Peer Mentors, a group of student leaders who serve as mentors to the first year students and plan additional events. Lauren is interested in various higher education topics, including student succcess, experiential learning, and assessment in higher education. Outside of work, she enjoys fitness, reading, and cooking.
