Katalina Traxler
Academic Counselor
Dr. Katalina (Kata) Traxler is an Academic Counselor in the Office of Student Success within the J.B. Speed School of Engineering. Kata completed her doctorate in Counseling & Personnel Services with a specialization in College Student Personnel at the University of Louisville in 2022. Kata has a master's degree in College Student Personnel from Marquette University, and a bachelor's degree in Psychology & Communication Studies from DePaul University. Kata has worked in higher education for eight years, primarily focusing on social justice, equity, and inclusion initiatives for historically excluded populations.
