The Speed Technology Solutions group provides dedicated Information Technology support to all Speed School faculty, staff and students.
All J. B. Speed School of Engineering students enrolled in any classes are assessed a $25 technology fee for that given semester. The technology fee includes any undergraduate student, Masters of Engineering program student, or graduate student (MS, Phd, and post-doc) enrolled for one or more credit hours (including co-op).
The Speed School Engineering Software Bundle is an online resource for Speed School students to setup their tablets, download course related software, find information on printing, and much more. You may access the Speed Bundle at https://engrapps.spd.louisville.edu/SpeedBundle/. Microsoft Office is accessible through Cardmail at https://outlook.office365.com. Additional information regarding Office may be found on the University Office 365 Website located at http://louisville.edu/email/office-365.
Undergraduate students at the J. B. Speed School of Engineering are required to have a mobile computer meeting certain minimum specifications. The details of the Tablet PC Program may be found on the Tablet PC Website
The University of Louisville has a campus-wide MATLAB license. Students, Faculty and Staff can access this license via the MathWorks MATLAB Portal.
Departmental Labs are typically reserved for students who have been admitted to the department. Please contact the appropriate Tier 1 support staff as noted below with questions.
