Publicize Your Event

The Speed School website filters events from the main UofL calendar and automatically populates them on the Speed School Events page.

To publicize an upcoming event, please enter your information at

  1. Click on the Submit an Event on the righthand side under the header.
  2. Login with your UofL credentials (same as your Outlook username and password).
  3. Enter the following fields:
  4. Enter Event Name
  5. Enter Description
  6. Enter Schedule date, time, location
  7. Enter additional details if applicable
  8. Enter the contact information for the person hosting the event
  9. Upload an event photo. (jpg format, 200 pixels wide x 200 pixels tall)
  10. Select the filters. This is probably the most important step.
  11. Select event type
  12. Select audience(s). You may select more than one by returning the dropdown and selecting another audience.
  13. Select department(s). You may select more than one department as well.
  14. Select group
  15. Enter ticketing information if applicable
