My research focuses on the development and translation of a novel, adaptable blood pump that will serve the blood flow requirements of both pediatric and adult patients with heart disease. … I am very honored to receive this award and I believe the research I conduct will one day have the potential to positively impact millions of people dealing with heart disease.”
McLellan earned a bachelor’s degree in bioengineering in May 2023.
