Dr. Michael McIntyre

Dear Alumni, Students, Faculty, Staff, Donors and Friends,

We are excited to announce the new addition of the online MSEE Program. One of our strategies to expand our enrollment in ECE is to develop new degree options and to offer programs online. We are excited to offer students our 100% online Master of Science in the Electrical Engineering degree program. This is the first of its kind in the state of Kentucky. We are accepting enrollment for the fall of 2022, click here for more information on the MSEE online program.

Our target audience is students with an undergraduate degree in EE, ECE, or a closely related field that want to further their skills in our discipline. This program is perfect for the working professional that is finding they need to further their skills or keep up with the evolving technology landscape. In this program, students will learn from our world-class faculty just as they currently do with our on-campus ECE course offerings. Moreover, all the online courses have been certified and developed to use best practices by Delphi, our teaching and learning center at UofL. This is a key differentiator for us because some universities offer online courses and programs, but the faculty are adjuncts and/or graduate students. We are excited to add this new program to our department! We will keep you updated on this exciting development in future newsletters and through our social media accounts.
